Entry Requirements for Taiwan

Undergraduate

• Minimum 75% in Senior High School Diploma

• IELTS 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each skill)

Postgraduate

• Minimum 65% in a four year Bachelor’s degree

• IELTS 6.0 for most of our Master’s courses

• Pre-sessional available (12, 6 or 3 weeks). 99%+ pass rate over the last 2 years.

• Many postgraduate taught (Master’s) courses are conversion degrees – no prior study or work experience required

• Graduate Diploma/Pre-Master’s study at INTO Stirling for students that do not meet direct entry criteria

Student Consultancy Projects

• Students seeking to enhance their employability and add value to a business client have the opportunity to undertake a three-month consultancy project over the summer, as an alternative to a traditional dissertation.

• Consultancy projects allow students to work with an organisation to investigate a ‘real-world’ issue, enhancing their business skills and making professional connections that may lead to a job offer in the future.

MSc Digital Media and Society

• The MSc in Digital Media and Society at the University of Stirling is an interdisciplinary course which will engage, challenge and reward.

MSc Media Management

• The University of Stirling has delivered a qualification in Media Management since 1993 and was the first in the UK – probably in Europe and even globally – to do so.

MSc Psychology (conversion course)

• This course is an accredited conversion course, a previous degree in Psychology is not required.

• This is an intensive Masters Psychology conversion course. It’s aimed at students who have a degree in another subject and want to 'convert' to Psychology. The course provides in-depth and accelerated training in the basics of psychology.

• The course includes a one month placement for practical experience in psychology.

• Accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), this course gives students BPS Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership, useful for students wanting to practise as a psychologist or health professional.

Aquaculture and the Environment

MSc Environmental Management

• Established 30 years ago, this course provides solid grounding in scientific principles that underpin environmental management.

• Three pathways available: MSc Environmental Management, MSc Environmental Management (Conservation), MSc Environmental Management (Energy)

• The course includes a residential field skills course and the chance to carry out a work-related dissertation.

MSc Sustainable Aquaculture

• The Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Stirling is recognised internationally for research and teaching.

• Students will gain background knowledge in the principles of aquaculture and key factors influencing the viability of aquatic animal production systems, including an understanding of aquatic animal biology, environmental issues, nutrition, reproduction and genetics, disease and health management.

MSc Sport Management (6.5 IELTS)

• This course was ranked 3rd in Europe in 2017 by Sport Business International

• Internship of 40-60 hours for every student (takes place during the course)

• Students can progress to a range of careers within the sports industry and inside sports clubs and businesses
