    Culture and Heritage

    • Master of Arts (MA) degrees: 1 year

    • Art Museum and Gallery Studies (from Art related background)

    • Opportunity to have work placements in a suitable gallery, museum, or heritage site. 12 days long or 6 weeks long

    • Masters of Practice (MPrac) degrees: 2 year

    • First year: MA

    • Second year: 36 week work placement in the UK or abroad Art Museum and Gallery Practice, Heritage Practice, Museum Practice


    Academic requirements

    Undergraduate

    • We accept various qualifications e.g. GE A-level, IB, Junior College Diploma and Bachelor’s degree

    Postgraduate (choose Taiwan from ‘entry requirements’)

    • For masters that look for 2.2: Min 70-75% average in UG

    • For masters that look for 2.1: Min 75-80% average in UG



    Cost of Living and Accommodation

    • Relatively low cost of living in Newcastle

    • As a guide, we estimate that a undergraduate students will need around £9,000 - £10,500 one academic year, a postgraduate student will need between £11,000 - £12,500
