The Students’ Union
Cardiff University Students’ Union is at the heart of the campus and the centre of student life. It was ranked top 3 by the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2020. It has more than 200 societies and organises a huge number of events.
International societies
A huge range of cultures and backgrounds are represented in the city’s food and arts. Cardiff is also home to places of worship for all faiths, with a number of mosques, synagogues, churches and temples.
Sport and keeping fit
As of September 2019, Wales was home to the #1 rugby team in the world. Cardiff City Football Club attracts international football players, and Cardiff is also home to the highly-ranked Cardiff Devils ice hockey team. Cardiff is home to Championship football club Cardiff City.
